Spicy Sausage & Cheese Wonton Bites

Ingredients for 24 Wonton Wrappers
- Sausage: 2 lbs of Italian hot & mild sausage (1 lb each) is quite a lot, so for 24 wonton wrappers, you’ll need roughly 1 lb total (mix hot and mild as you like).
- Peppers: Use 1 large bell pepper (diced in the food processor) or 1/2 cup of diced peppers.
- Green Onion: 1/4 cup chopped green onion (about 2-3 stalks).
- Spicy and Buttermilk Ranch: Start with 1/2 cup total of a mix of spicy ranch and buttermilk ranch dressing.
- Colby Jack Cheese: 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese.
- Wonton Wrappers: 24 wrappers.
Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, diced peppers, chopped green onion, ranch dressing, and shredded Colby Jack cheese. Mix until well blended.
- Assemble Wontons: Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
